• The contest is open to all PMDS students, and alumni.
• Each participant may submit more than one entry.
• The poster must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme: “Journey of Faith: Bearing the Gift of Mission”
• The following materials will be used in the contest:
• A. A ½ illustration board (white background & vertical format) and a Mongol pencil (to be provided by the contestant).
• B. Coloring material: oil pastel/craypas, markers, ink, mixed media, oil, acrylic and watercolor (to be provided by the contestant) *Use of other materials not specified above is strictly prohibited.
• Entries must be submitted not later than April 23, 2021 (Friday) at the PMDS-SHS office. Posters must be done in free hand and be officially submitted to Mr. Melvin Arias. The artist will be held accountable to any issues that may arise with regards to the originality and authenticity of the design. All entries will be exhibited at the PMDS Exhibit Room (St. Joseph Building) after the contest and in the months of May-June 2021.
• The posters will be judged according to the following criteria: creativity and presentation (40%), originality (30%) and relevance to the theme (30%).
• The decision of the judges will be final and non-appealable.
• Ten finalists will be chosen and one winning poster will be chosen. A cash prize of 1,000 and a Plaque will be given to the winner. The ten finalists will receive Certificates of Recognition and Special Prizes while all contestants will receive Certificates of Participation.
• Poster entries will automatically become official property of the Patronage of Mary Development School.
