In February 2025, the Patronage of Mary Development School (PMDS) will proudly celebrate the 10th anniversary of its highly anticipated annual research conference. This year’s conference will center around the theme: “Agents of Growth and Human Development: Promoting Sustainability.”
Over the past decade, PMDS has cultivated a vibrant research culture, producing hundreds of research outputs contributed by both students and teachers. Many of these research projects have gained recognition and were presented at prestigious national and international conferences, showcasing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence.
Dr. Rouel A. Longinos, the principal of PMDS, emphasized the school’s role in fostering research as a vital tool for enhancing reading skills and critical thinking. He stated, “PMDS is poised to be a champion of research as a means of promoting independent learning and authentic collaboration among students. This environment encourages learners to explore topics they are passionate about and develop their skills in a meaningful way.”
True to its mission and vision, PMDS remains dedicated to providing high-quality, innovative education that emphasizes the development of 21st-century skills through time-tested instructional strategies and learner-centered approaches. The upcoming conference not only celebrates the achievements of its students and faculty but also reinforces PMDS’s commitment to sustainable growth and development in education.
