In line with its commitment to providing high-quality Catholic education, Patronage of Mary Development School (PMDS) in Boljoon, Cebu has recently submitted its formal intent to become a member of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP).
This application is strongly supported by the Most Reverend Archbishop of Cebu, Most Rev. Jose S. Palma, DD, who affirms PMDS’s authentic Catholic educational mission demonstrated consistently over the past seventeen years. Representing Sr. Elenita E. Soriano, DC, CEAP Region VII Trustee, a distinguished delegation of CEAP officials conducted a thorough visit to PMDS, where they inspected the administration, faculty, staff, and students, as well as the school’s buildings and facilities.
The delegation consisted of Dr. Rosalina L. Barton, DevEdD, CEAP-CEPA Vice President and Chairperson of the CEAP Region VII Membership and Awards Committee; Dr. Jovita B. Augusto, DevEdD, DPA, CEAP-CEPA President and Region VII Council Treasurer; Ms. Ingrid M. Bohol, MEdSL, CEAP-CeSSPA Vice President; and Ms. Ainna Mae P. Kosuge, Secretary to the CEAP-CEPA President. The delegates were warmly welcomed and assisted by officers of the Supreme Student Government and Campus Ministry.
During their visit, the officials observed classroom sessions and toured various facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, and the library, thus gaining comprehensive insight into PMDS’s academic environment and resources. The visit was productive and encouraging, and the PMDS administration expressed optimism that this milestone will soon signify a significant achievement in the school’s history, further strengthening its standing within the Catholic educational community.
